Packaging Solutions, Inc. can help you make the best decisions on what materials to use to get your products to your clients. No matter what you’re shipping, we can help by designing expendable containers that will protect your product to the final location, be cost-effective, and be easily broken down for sustainable disposal.
What is Expendable Packaging?
Expendable packaging is generally used for one-way shipments. It is made from paper corrugated, hexacomb, and a variety of less expensive foam materials. Most expendable packaging materials are environmentally friendly and recyclable. It is a low cost, convenient, and eco-friendly method for safely protecting whatever it is that you are packaging.
Examples of Expendable Packaging Products:
- Corrugated Cartons
- Corrugated Roll-ups
- Die Cut Foam
- Hexacomb Die Cuts / Blocks
- Wood / Paper Pallets
- Non-Woven Bags / Bonnets
Our engineering team will work with you to understand your product and shipping environment and will develop a solution specifically designed to meet your needs.
We can provide woven and non-woven fabric solutions for your small parts that require class-A protection all the way up to large shipping crates that need product protection. These fabrics are available in roll stock, pre-cut sheets, and customer sewn bags or bonnets designed to fit your product.
Woven coated materials provide superior tear strength and are moisture resistant. Non-woven material, such as spunbond and high temperature polyesters, provide a breathable and scratch resistant protective covering.
